9/23/08  Great news for you collectors!  Now you can purchase ORIGINALS from two new places I have chosen to work with.  One is The Twisted Brush at 18804 Front Street Poulsbo Washington
1-360-598-6443 and the other is a year round Christmas store called Christmas Treasures here in Blue River Oregon 1-800-820-8189.  The Twisted Brush gallery is an artist working studio.  Hopefully next Spring I will be there to do a demonstration.  Details on that will follow at a later time.  The Christmas Treasures shop is a wonderful store that features all types of Santa's and such.  Lots of wood carvings, original pieces, some reproductions (yes, he also carries my Pumpkinseeds Enesco line)!  This fabulous stop over between the Willamette Valley and Central Oregon is a must especially during the Christmas Season when Patrick shows off his best with a 150 foot tall LIGHTED Christmas tree!  Bet you can see it from space.  So, if your looking for new originals please give either shop a ring.  They both JUST received their pieces this week.

8/24/08  Just listed these two Halloween folk art black cats on ebay for 45.00 each.  One has a stuffed muslin painted head with a clay body and the other is a needled felted black cat wearing a clown costume with a clay head, paws and boots on a wooden block.  Go check them out! 5/27/08  Last week I started a new batch of papier mache items.  Looks like there will be 3-4 Santa's, one rocket boy and a Halloween witch.  A few of the Santa's will be the primitive black pieces that I have done before.  There are a some collectors out there that missed the last guy's so do check back with either this site or etsy or email me.  I no longer do the big email notification system.  Again, its just too much and its easier for me to just post notes.  I should have these done by the end of this week and at that time I will take a group photo.  Thanks :)

4/17/08  Just added three new papier mache sculptures to my site.  Go to the home page and click on "Sculptures available".  Its not too often I create pieces like these.  These come from me, not inspired by what will sell, or what holiday is coming up or even what I think everyone wants.  This is who I am. And you know, it felt so nice :)

/2/26/08  Coming soon- Just like old times, soon you will be able to purchase a variety of art directly from this site and the artist.  Available will be the ever lovable papier mache folk art creations, polymer art sculpted "dolls" (for lack of a better word) and art cards or better known as ACEO's.  This will be in the works for the near future so do check back often for updates.

2/13/08  Up for grabs are two Halloween nodder characters.  One is a pumpkin man dressed in his bunny costume holding a hand made trick or treat paper bag and the other is scary skelly man with a RIP base.  Both have wooden vintage style table legs that jiggle when moved.  Both are approx 7.5 inches tall.  Price 135.00 shipping 6.50.  Both of these will be on Etsy by the end of the day if not sold.

1/12/08 Just got back from the Atlanta giftware show.  For photo's see my Artist page.  I had an absolute wonderful time!  Very excited about the Pumpkinseeds future which will bring new product with fresh idea's in new formats.

12/27/07  Posted two new ACEO's in my Etsy shop.  Also listed two fabulous Halloween folk art pumpkin paintings on ebay.  And as always, the pictures can't capture the depth of color and how nice these came out.

Also a special note on January's activities.  Retailers and friends can come meet me in Atlanta Georgia this January 10th.  I will be in the Enesco booth representing my Pumpkinseeds Folk Art 2008 line!  Please stop by and say hello. 11/28/07  There was a email and link issue with the last emails I sent out in regard to Christmas 2007.  Some received the link and others did not.  My apologies to those who missed out.  I am not very good with multiple emailing and keeping a long list of names.  This is why when I do decide to have special events there are only a few a year.  Again, I am very sorry.

10/03/07 Happy October by the way! I am feeling a bit cheated by the weather here in Oregon.  Seems this year it went from summer to winter completely missing fall : (  Sad.  But across the way I can see some thunder brewing.  This makes up for it.

8/18/07  Lots of wonderful changes and new adventures this year. Most of you know that I have been working with Enesco giftware company for about a year and a half.  They have been so incredible to work with and not only has this been a terrific work adventure but the bonus is that they produce fabulous, quality reproduction pieces. 
I just got back from a one day seminar where I passed and received my certification to be on QVC.  I will have a 6 minute spot on the wee early morning hours of the 28th of August.  If you go to QVC and check out their TV guide, look for Harvest or Fall hour OR the QVC morning hour.  Still unsure about the exact name.  This should be sometime between 7 and 9 AM EASTERN time.

8/13/07 On the 15, 16 and 17th of August 2007 I will be unavailable to process orders or take emails.  I will finish up all transactions on the 18th.  Thank you.  Also note, for the folks who know about a special adventure I will be taking, that event has been changed to the the wee morning hours of the 28th of August.  Key words to watch for Harvest.

8/10/07  Early sneak peek for the Halloween 2007 has been released.  Since my email program wont let me send out too many emails all in one shot I have sent out several notices separately. 8/7/07 Update on the August 14th Halloween release.  You will find a mummy man, a super cute pumpkin fellow and a frightening witch papier mache sculptures.  Also, for fun I made a large paper mache box that is a festive candle holder, like a cake! Remember to come back on the 14th as these might be the final Halloween pieces for this year. 

7/30/07 Today I added three new folk art paintings.  All three feature a folk art style girl with a primitive look.  Take a peek!

7/28/07 As promised the first release of my Halloween original sculptures will be Tuesday August 14th. I will also be starting up a email list and those who sign up will get sneak peeks prior to the sale.  More information later.

7/25/07 As promised, I have added one new Halloween ghoul to my site here and two Graveyard Angels to ebay.  The Angels are the second in a series.  These are mini's.  I was going to make these into ornaments but they stood alone so well that I decided to leave well enough alone.  Catch that?  ; )

7/21/07 Checking in to say hi. I updated this site with a few sold signs and rearranged a few pictures to refresh items.  Hopefully when I get done with my projects I will be back here to offer fresh new treats!  Do come back when  you can because now and then I sneak in one or two pieces.

5/24/07 Just like I stated in my blog, this week I finished up lots of new paintings and a couple of papier mache.  All hoping to plump up the inventory here on the Pumpkinseeds site and on ebay.  Next week I start my work with Enesco for Christmas and Fall 2008.  I will be busy for approx. a month so do pardon my disappearance. I will be available for emails or calls though. So any questions or orders please dont hesitate to ask.

The rabbits I painted above and just wonderful in person.  Like all artwork, pictures just dont cut it. I do hope that they find new homes. They look awesome as a set or in pairs.  They are not generating a lot of traffic there on ebay...  Come on folks!  I guarantee all my work to be exactly as described and better.  You will see.

Enesco has done an incredible job in recreating these fantastic new designs. I am thrilled with their quality and attention detail with each and every piece they reproduce.  To be honest, its hard to tell an original from the figures they have done.

1/8/07 Today was "give in" day.  For two things...  One, now you can find me easier on ebay.  Add this new name to your bookmarks PumpkinseedsOriginals.  So out with Halloween*31.  Remember that ebay only saves the old names for 30 days and after that it wont direct you to the new name.  So save it on your favorites list! 
And now two, papier mache.  I will be releasing a handful of ghoulish designs sometime this week.  I give in!  You win ;)  And boy you will love these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Watch my site for these eerie delights. The series will be called Graveyard Angels.  And no, they are not sweet.

12/11/06 Let me start off by saying welcome to my Colorado visitors!  Yes, lots has been going on here on the pumpkinseeds site as you can read and see.  I just added two brand new paintings both are really cool and I am happy to offer them to you.

11/29/06 I will be revamping my painting page within the next day or so.  Please come back again to see the new layout.  There will also be new paintings added at that time.  Personally I cant do the same old stuff over and over and my last whirl at the canvas inspired some great techniques.  I am excited to deliver to you these new styles.  Texture plays a huge part in these new paintings as well as me letting go and exploring some unknown thoughts placed down by my brush.  This new year will bring even more paintings and me doing more self exploration through the paint.  I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I am :)

11/29/06 Very discouraging selling on ebay these days.  Perhaps its really called "Flea-bay"...seems the only things selling are in the dollar range or perhaps like flea market give away's.  Sad.  We will see what 2007 brings. Perhaps this soul puss will give it another whirl, until then, I stand my ground and hold true to my beliefs.

Fall 2005 HGTV show Crafters Coast to Coast will air a 6 minute segment on what I do!  You will be able to see how I create my papier mache figures.  I will post the exact date for those of you interested.  Also, keep an eye out for the pieces that will be created on the show.
