KOOKSHI'S

Kookshi's are Japanese inspired Kokeshi wooden folk art dolls
that have just a small twist of evil and a sprinkling of sweet. The collectible
dolls you see above will be featured in the Art Doll Quarterly magazine May 1st 2010.
I will be receiving these pieces back after they smile pretty for picture taking.  Watch for
them to appear here soon.

4.75 inches tall
One of my favorite Kookshi's so far.
Karrot Karla has some creepy carrot men growing in the garden painted on her body.
She has absolutely beautiful eyes and lime green hair.

Kamile was painted in blues and pink with matching blue eyes.

Sweet and evil Orange and Lime Kookshi is
3.75 inches tall
She is wood with accented hair, polka dotted upper dress, wood base with vintage
Asian print paper. She has a sprinkling of shaved glass on the base and around
her dress.

Large Kookshi Dark Kizzie

This was an old Kokeshi that I reclaimed.  She is all black and white.
Lots of dots and sweet n evil eyes.
From an antique dictionary I added the definition of "DARK" to her dress.

Pigtail and Pink!
Wooden doll that stands a total of 4.25 inches tall
Kookshi Kymie has a glass beaded trim on her pigtail, a cotton chenille
collar, wooden base and accented hair. On the base and her hair is a sprinkling
of shaved glass.  Base has some antique Asian paper.
