Amelia
Beach girl
6 inches tall.
Amelia is amazing. She has a finish very closely resembling a
ceramic baked piece. I worked hard on getting
this finish by adding lots of layer of paint and lots of color
washes. If you look closely the darker lines are actually
dug into the clay so her hair and bathing suit really stand out.
Amelia stands on a wooden block painted with textured
waves of sea green and turquoise. I did a slight gloss on the water
and a bit on the edges of the starfish. Piece was sealed
with a matte finish.
